Children can place each piece in its matching recess, name colours and shapes, or compare dotted, wavy, ribbed and other raised surfaces with their fingertips. The pieces can also be hidden in a sensory material and found one at a time.

For a creative variation, gently press the textured face into modeling dough and compare the resulting patterns. Custom colour combinations are available on request. Adult supervision is recommended; the exact age and safety guidance requires manufacturer confirmation.
