Reading Aid

The Reading Guide is a practical educational resource designed to support children who are beginning to read and learners who benefit from additional visual guidance while reading.

By visually isolating one line of text, the guide helps reduce distractions on the page and makes it easier for the reader to follow the text from left to right. It can support visual tracking, attention, reading fluency, and confidence during reading practice.

The design combines functionality with child-friendly personalization. Instead of adding a child’s name, which can become an additional visual element on the tool, we use small animal companions as a playful personalization option. Children can choose their favorite animal and color, making the reading aid feel more personal while keeping its main function clear.

The guide is available in two different sizes to accommodate different reading materials and user preferences.

It can be used at home, in classrooms, tutoring sessions, literacy activities, and educational support settings.
